CJ Burney:
CJ Burney is becoming one the hottest up-and-coming comedians in stand up today. CJ was born and raised in Baltimore, MD -- also where he started his comedy career in April of 2007. Ever since first taking the stage, CJ has become one of the "must-see" comedians in the Baltimore area, as well as a producer of many shows.
Most recently CJ opened for Whoopi Goldberg at The Lyric Opera House after winning ABC's The View's "So You Think You're Funny?" contest.
"Comedy is my life and I love to take people away from their problems for a couple of hours. Just to make them feel better for one minute and to let them know that, you have to laugh to get through the pain". Some of CJ's influences include Richard Pryor, Red Foxx, Robin Harris and Martin Lawrence.
